Comment Field?

First, the workspace module is the gem I've been looking for. Thank you for writing it!

I manage communities for companies that require that all content be moderated. This is okay but the authors often want to know the status of their submissions. Workspace is a great solution to let them see their published (and unpublished) articles.

The only missing piece is a field where my editors can leave feedback, direction, status, etc on their pending articles. I do use revisions so I'm wondering if the log field could be exposed on this list?

Let me know if you think something like this is plausible. I'm willing to roll up my sleeves and tweak some code if I know it's something that will be useful to others.
