Rather than allow for an alternative google server (as in .CA vs. the default .COM), it would be great if it could be extended to use this field for additional servers. So for example, one could set it up to allow for .CA, .COM., .IT, .CO.UK google sites. AFAIK you can only use the default, or an alternate, but no combination of both.

hmmm.... good idea. i'd need to work out a workflow/ui of how to make that happen properly. unfortunately, don't have time before the d5 release today. but i'll try to work on that for the d6 release (and backport it to d5 later).

Marking this as "won't fix". Not a bad feature request, but Google Video is now moved to the media: Video Flotsam module.
