Description

I've been able to get this set up finally, but I'm having a problem with the user permissions...

I see how to set up group permissions and the such, but I'm trying to modify the default user permissions. For example... I do not want users to be able to delete an album, EVEN their own album.

My setup is to allow a user to only have ONE album that is correctly being created at account creation, but they should only be able to add/edit/delete photos in their gallery, NOT create new albums, delete their own albums, etc. I guess creating sub-albums would be okay, but it is imperative that the main level album that is created for them cannot be deleted unless the user account is deleted.

Thanks for any help.

All the Gallery2 item permissions are set up by Gallery2, not by the gallery module (the only part that it plays is to ensure that the users and roles in Drupal are synced to the users and groups in Gallery2). All this is to say that permissions problems and support should be directed to the Gallery2 forums, where you are more likely to get information.

Did you solve this? I'm in the same setup and having the same problems.
