Module description:
A module that allows a site administrator to add projects completed by their company. Some of these projects can be set as "Featured projects" which will display in a block on the site.

Administration side:
The administrator will be able to upload images of the project, a brief description of the project, detailed description of the project and people involved in the project.

Viewing side:
The project details will be displayed in two ways -
On a dedicated "Projects" page
In a block on each page of the site

Project's Page(green section of attached image):
This will display all the information as inputed by the site's administrator.
The projects will need to be listed here and as a site user clicks on each project the details of the project will display and the images from that project will appear in the Block (yellow section)

Project's Block (yellow section of attached image):
This will display a slideshow of the pictures of the project.
The brief description of the project will display under the slideshow.
There will be several "Featured Projects" on the site, so there should be a button that allows the site's users to browse through these.

Variation:
I want the "Projects Block" to change when a visitor goes to the "Projects Page".
The Block should change to an image gallery, the "Gallery Block" will have a similar layout to the "Projects Block".
A slideshow of he projects images will be displayed with thumbnail images under the slideshow to allow a visitor to quickly select a particular image.

Standard:
This module should integrate seemlessly with a standard Drupal 5 installation.

I want the module sent to me with full instructions for self-installation. The successful bidder will not be required to install this module on the live site. A test environment with the template of the site will be available if needed.

I can be contacted directly from this site.

Hey,

Saw that Caramelson applied for this position and I just wanted to officially recommend him. I had him work on a module for me (musicstudio.com), and not only did he finish the project in my rather ambitious timeline, but he did so w/out having me to micromanage (check in on) him!

Did great work for me, and had a very strong understanding of how drupal works and what needed to be done.

Feel free to contact me via blake [at] ayceinternet.com

This functionality can be set up easily with existing modules (views, cck, and image cache) and there are distinct advantages to taking that route. Not the least of these is the fact that these existing modules already have maintainers and will be kept up to date.

I agree with Aaron-Hawkins. No custom module is required. This can be easily implemented with views, cck, imagefield and image cache). Please use my contact form for directions.

Yep there is no custom module required.

1- CCK & CCK fields extensions (Building custom content type structure)
2- Views (Building customizable content lists)
3- Image (It does same thing with Image cache but have better views integration for me)

And use CCK multi image slideshow (don't remember exact name) for that slideshow.

PS: If you are going to theme your data for displaying use Contemplate module than copy&paste generated data into node-yourtype.tpl.php there are several tutorial out there showing how to theme nodes

Hi,

Just a quick note thank everyone who replied in particular Aaron-Hawkins.
Aaron did the job for me.
He was a great choice as he worked quickly and spent time answering my (many) questions.
His understanding of my problem and ability to turn that into a solution was almost as impressive as the quick turnaround time Aaron achieved.
I would highly recommend Aaron to anyone looking for help with Drupal.
I'd be happy to provide a reference for Aaron if anyone requires one.
