I can't get it to work. I follwed the instructions closely and tried it on two different Drupal sites of mine

I attached a pic of what I get when I submit an image... a blank image area with a crop box off to the side (outside of the image area) and you can't move the box around...

Is it browser dependent? I'm using Mac FF.

i even tried it with the Garland theme to see if it was a theme issue...same results...

Edit: Figured it out

This is because the temporary directory was not set correctly under Home › Administer › Site configuration > File system
It was set as /tmp and changing it to just tmp made it work.

as the admin user, I was trying to update other users pics ....and when I'd do the final submit, it would update the admin's picture and not the user I was trying to update. I tried this on a number of users and it was the same for all.

I logged in as a regular user and it seemed to work OK.
