It is the mission of the County of Armstrong to enhance the quality of life and serve the needs of our citizens by providing essential public services in a courteous, effective and fiscally responsible manner.
The site was originally created by another County employee, using Dreamweaver, in early 2005. I was hired by the County late in 2006 to redesign the site, in order to improve its usability, accessibility and to allow other County employees to maintain their own content. Drupal was chosen for this purpose, and the redesigned site went live in late 2007.
