I just installed 2.x and its great, I've been testing the logging which works very well. When trying to use Views to view my log entries I found that the default views are not listed. ie admin/logs/user is not availabe. Also, when I want to create a View, I can only create one with the Node entries, the User entries are not availabe.

ah, you need the usernode module for the user views! I've mentioned that now in the README.

Feature Request - Having the View Filter by User in addition to Message Type and Category would be VERY useful

is there no user filter already in views? Otherwise you could try the user argument
