taxonomy_image_schema is present in the .install file and this seems to be a Drupal 6 feature.

Also, the comment before this hook needs to be fixed.

If you also use the schema module on D5, then this is helpful to have. Plus I am in the process of developing the 6.x version. Having the schema there doesn't seem to hurt anything and provides me a level of sanity checking.
