After users submit the form they are being redirected to the home page instead of the form page.

My module only adds on an extra features to the core Drupal Contact Module so this is not the place to post this. Unfortunately the core modules are not listed seperately so I get a lot of people posting here about the core contact module. The place to post this is Drupal Project -> Drupal.

Having said that, I can tell you that being redirected to the home page is *now* what happens.
Here is a comment from the core contact module from the contact_mail_page_submit() function line 549.

  // Jump to home page rather than back to contact page to avoid contradictory messages if flood control has been activated.
  return('');

This was changed to avoid people thinking that the message hadn't been sent and hitting send again.
