In this patch:

1) Week's first day is resolved from system date settings.

2) Start hour of schedule page can be configured, but a day still remains 24hrs.

Willing to provide patch for localized hour display according to date settings, later.

Please review it and I hope these features become available in official release,
soon.

thanks for your work on this. i'm not committing new features to the 1.x branch, all the new development is going on in HEAD.

the start of the week feature has already been committed and this issue seems to address your other feature: http://drupal.org/node/120296 so i'm going to mark this as a duplicate.

so please review the HEAD release and the patch on issue #120296 and provide any feedback or enhancements there.
