Hi there!
Since http://drupal.org/node/209862, http://drupal.org/node/210070 and http://drupal.org/node/210238 are all active, but unassigned and 6.x will be stable in a few seconds ;-) I have the impression that there won't be support for shared tables in multisites.
So do I have do use 5.x to have two independent installation with shared users or are there any other possibilities? I know some MySQL-magic VIEWS to have an alias for the second user-table, but I don't know if that would be suitable for this case.
