Hello. I am getting this error on the >admin>settings>banner page:
Failed to access "banner_file.php", file does not exist. Unable to display banners.
I gave the permission properly. This is not the case for "banner_db.php".
any help is greatly appreciated.

Both files
Part of the module install process is to move 'banner_db.php' and 'banner_file.php' into your top level Drupal directory. Are both files in the directory?

yes...
Thank you! I've had to set the 'banner' in the my file directory. that works.

I'm having the same problem.
I'm having the same problem. drupal is installed in /httpdocs/ and i put both those files (banner_file.php and banner_db.php) in that folder. i even changed permissions to 777 and it still tells me:
Failed to access "banner_file.php", file does not exist. Unable to display banners.

I'm getting the problem on the other file.
Both files are in my top directory, but the module can't find "banner_db.php".
