Hello,
Thank you very much for creating and maintaining this module! It is an excellent addition to Drupal!
I would like to know how I can access RSS feeds or email updates (or any sort of notification) when posts are made to the forum.
The goal here is to be able to have an automated system to keep track of the posts being made.
What do you recommend?
Thank you.

daniel.hunt commentedYeah this sort of thing has been toyed with on and off for a while on unreal.ie
I haven't found an ideal way of controlling it yet - the major cause of the whole thing is that UIEForum doesn't use Drupal's node system to store its content, so you can't use Drupal's standard ways of doing this.
Its a pain, I know, but I'm aware of the problem.

TheProf commentedHello Zoro,
Thank you for your feedback.
I understand how this is an issue since UIEForum doesn't use Drupal's node system. Is there perhaps a hacked or non-standard solution? Ultimately my goal is to be able to quickly identify posts that are inappropriate on the site.
Thoughts?
Thank you.

daniel.hunt commentedTheres nothing stopping you writing one of your own feed scripts if you want :)

jz_ commentedhaving by default a feed of all new threads (and possibly a feed by thread) would be super-cool !

TheProf commentedFor sure you are correct, except that my coding skills are very poor! And non-existent for PHP. I can certainly test things that others code, if that would help.
daniel.hunt commentedPostponing this, as it has to do with the eventual move over to nodes for this module
