Description
I see it there, however, I get this each time I try to import contacts
Myspace login information is invalid or your contact list is empty, if you are sure that your contact list is not empty then please try again and make sure that you have typed the correct login information.
I know that the login info is correct and that there are in fact contacts in my list. Any ideas?

the other importers, are they working fine?

I do not have a Hotmail account, but the only one otherwise that has worked for me was Yahoo. See http://drupal.org/node/208874

I can second this problem. Yahoo works perfectly and in fact this module is quiet impressive especially if you can manage to be called upon first registration of a new member as the first page he sees after registration. Cuz he will be able to invite his people.
Parallel to the construction of my community I'm building a network at myspace and various others. Here I inform interested people about my progress. The mass invite of users in myspace would be wonderfull because I currently have 500 + friends which I could invite for beta test when my site enters this phase.
Please see into this problem
Thank you in advance

I was receiving the same error.
It appears I wrongly assumed that 'Friends' on MySpace would be imported. In fact you have to add contacts with email addresses to your address book in MySpace.
I'm sure this is written in the docs and that I should have read them. ;-)
Hope my mistake helps someone else.

Hi Kirishita,
Do you use drupal6 or 5 for your site? I am the new maintainer of this module and will be adding this feature for D6, but for D5, I fear I wont be able to do much now due to my time limitations. Also D6 version of dcl_importer will be a complete rewrite with a lot more new features. If you need D5 version of dcl_importer, then I will be only be able to apply patches submitted by the community.
Thanks,
neokrish

Closing this, myspace is supported in D6 and D5 module is no longer maintained... please see the project page for more details.

Any news on a D5 backport?
#8
i'm working on major architectural changes to the D6 module right now, so it would probably be best to hold off on a D5 backport until the D6 version is somewhat stable.

subscribing - love this module.
