Issue Summary
I've tried to translate taxonomy vocabulary and terms.
But the 'translate' menu presents a form with no options, is impossible (or I'm doing a big mistake) to translate anything.
I'm attaching one small screenshot in order to show the problem.
I've tried without success the following:
a) Choose English Language for existing vocabulary, then translate
b) The same, but choosing Spanish for other vocabulary, then translate
c) Made new vocabulary in Spanish, then translate
d) Made new vocabulary without specifying language, then translate
In all cases, the translate form doesn't permit to specify a translation.

i too have the same problem.
i'm trying to hack around the problem, but i guess something should be written in the README to explain how to add taxonomies translation.

oops... it's explained here:
http://drupal.org/node/21012
but it should be in the README nonetheless :-)
btw, great work, Jose!

i just followed the instructions posted by Jose, but to no avail :-( i still can't translate taxonomies.

Me neither :(
here José says:
But the problem is that in 4.6 there's no way to do that. The translations tab presents a form that has no clickable items, other than the button 'submit', there's no way to add translations to terms.
Of course... maybe I'm doing something wrong...

DONE!
you have to use a 'language-less' vocabulary (i.e. you have to leave the language dropdown of the vocabulary in the blank position) so you can choose every term language and, later, associate terms in the translation tab (hope i explained myself).
The only downside is that you can't translate the vocabulary name.
Please Jose, write it in the README, it's somewhat hard to understand;-)

I've tried everything written above, but really none of them is allowing me to select more more then one languages when using the translation option in taxonomy.
- If I don't give the vocabulary any language, none of the terms show up in the translation selection box.
- When I do select a language for the vocabulary, only the terms of that language are shown and I can't select the translation or any term in the other language.
I attached a screenshot perhaps it will clear something out...

you have to:
done... (I hope)
if you leave the language of a term empty, that means it's languageless, so you can't translate it
