The information on how to document information in the handbooks (http://drupal.org/node/14279) deserves to move from the FAQ to a "Documentation Handbook" either under the Developing for Drupal (my preference) or About Drupal sections. It would also be very helpful to have this linked in the Handbook tools section of the Contributor Links block.

OK while we're at it in a super-hyper level of pickyness.... Handbook Tools is the only contributor heading with both words capitalized. It is also the only area where the sub-items are not capitalized... So it matters very little if we actually fix that but it would make it look more consistent.

Fixed the capitalization for you.

The documentation handbook was separate once, I moved it for a variety of reasons during the last consolidation as no one could find it on the top level so there didn't seem to be a point to leaving it there.

I will give it some thought.

Thanks!

As things tend to go full circle... This issue came from a discussion with webchick about how it was difficult to find the documentation handbook because it was in the FAQ.

The sections on how to help are now in the Getting Involved guide. The remaining items in the FAQ are more general info about using the docs and such. We should make sure the two areas are well cross-linked.
