Hey there folks :) ..

i`m making a magazine website. what i`m after for is the next thing.
I made a cck type with an image field. I used image_cache to scale those images for varous purposes. Then, i have installed views_slideshow and configure it and everything seems to be fine.
Then I have installed jcarousel and told views_slideshow to use it.
At the and, I`ve made a view with a single block, have choosen views slideshow and image_cache filed only.
also, i have added the jcarousel_add() function to my page.tpl.php.

When i turn on that block, images are shown as i wanted, linking to their nodes, but I do not have jcarousel functionality. There is no next-previous button. :(

i don`t know if I was clear, but to be sure .. the effect I want to achieve is this one http://emportal.co.yu/.
At the bottom of the page, there is a block with images linking to the image pages.
I got to the point where I suppose to click that scroll button, but unfortunatelly, i don`t have it. :)

I`m not sure if i`m doing something wrong. :(
Am I missing something?

I`ll be glad to clarify any possible above written nonsense. :)

if you want to achieve the outcome of what "http://emportal.co.yu/" have, you can check out the "http://drupal.org/node/233090" page, which is a showcase of how the drupal remake of popsci.com being done. From there, you will discover a module name "NodeCarousel" which seems the key element to make what you want !

i am looking for what you want too, but i also want the carousel to move by itself sth like a slideshow.
