i just released the source code for http://newskicks.com an open source Digg/Reddit/Propeller clone Project with many killer features like:-
1)Embed videos from any site like youtube,metacafe,google,ifilm etc.
2)Embded any audio files like mp3,wav,rm etc.
3)Embed any image format like jpeg,gif,bmp etc.
4)It has a mysite feature where user can create their own page and add content to it.
5)user can add each other in their buddy list and can send private messages.
6)Search engine friendly URLs are enabled by default,so no extra configuration is needed.
