Fileview for Word Docs???

Hello,
I'd like users to be able to display their uploaded files directly in drupal. The fileview module appears to be the only current solution for this, but it doesn't include .doc files in its default settings. Does anybody know how to use this module to display .doc files in browser? I can add doc, but the format renderer leaves alot of ugly formatting code in the display.
Any ideas? Thanks!

document import api module aims to do this but its still in development
