First of all thanks for the phantastic module. I tested version 3 with language determination by hostname. I have recognized that in some cases the translation tab is not appearing if you look at nodes.

My settings:

Hostname for English: domain.com
--> Translation tab shown

Hostname for German: de.domain.com
-->translation tab not shown

Hostname for French: fr.domain.com
-->translation tab not shown

Hence, it looks like the translation tab is not shown with language-prefix hostnames.

Actually I found out that I forgot to grant the translate permissions to the respective user. Thus, it looks like not to show the translation tab is the correct behaviour but showing the translation tab with the English hostname is incorrect.

However, now I gave the user the permission to translate and the tabs are shown with all of the urls.
