Hello,
I would like to know some figures about the Drupal community (like the ne I can find on ez.no front page), but I was unable to find them on the site.
I goal is to compare some CMS, and to confirm, proove, that Drupal is the one our client needs.
So, my questions are:
How much downloads? (if quantifiable)
How much known online websites using Drupal?
How much partners? (maybe the members of the Drupal association)

Any other figure which could help me in my task...

Thank you for the links, I have other ideas of figures that would reflect the important activity of the Drupal community:
- global number of threads or posts (forums, issues, books, comments... I think this would approach number of nodes + number of comments)
- number of paying partners
- daily hits number
- ...
