When I import a group of MARC records the module creates menu items and menus for those records. Is this normal? Can it be disabled?

I am hoping that this is just a usability issue with the mapping form. The mapping form is very confusing.
You can map MARC fields to the menu fields in your node form which is something you really are not going to want to do. But right now, this isn't obvious at all on the form.
On the mapping form, there are two fields:
You do not have anything selected for these items. If so, when your nodes get created, the selected MARC fields will be mapped in to the menu system for these nodes.
I am working on an update right now with some usability fixes, I will try to do something about this, probably nix those two choices from the form altogether.

aaustin, thanks for the reply. I was just get ready to say that I figured out what I was doing wrong, when I saw your post. You nailed it! I had something in both of those fields.
However, I wouldn't nix the feature. In fact, I would like to be able to select taxonomy terms or existing menus on import.

Problem resolved by adding the CCK module.
