it would be great to have the possibility to have editor profile chosen by content-type
in my setting there is no sense to chosse profile by userrrole, but much sense to choose by contenttype.

we could let the template add a classname to the textarea and decide on this...

that's what I am looking for, too!
For me it makes no sense in having different profiles per role. Either a user can write a new node from a certain content type, or not.

It's more useful to have a simple tinymce-profile for forum-posts and a full editor for writing new storys oder articles, i.e.
