Normal users see all book nodes in the Subscriptions RSS feed ( http://example.com/subscriptions/feed ), even if their role is denied access to those books via the book_access module. Not sure if this is a problem with book_access or with Subscriptions.

Disabling the subscriptions RSS entirely would solve this for me. What is the best way to do this?

1.x is buggy and unsupported. I think there's a patch for disabling the RSS feed somewhere in the old closed issues, but you'll have to dig for it yourself.

Or look at 2.0, currently in beta, which has never had an RSS feed. :-)
