Could this nice module be adapted to the ubercart module? Or is it really tied to the ecommerce module?

I was just wondering the same thing. I think it could be adapted, but I'm not going to attempt it because I'm on D6 and ubercart is totally buggy still. E-commerce doesn't even exist for D6 yet.

I don't think anyone is monitoring this issue queue.
