I'm planning a wiki like site based on drupal 6, and currently looking for a good wiki engine; that's why it would be helpfull to know if a version 6.x of liquidwiki is planned so i can plan my own work according to it. Same question has been asked for MediaWiki, since i will probably have to use the first wiki module working under 6.x.

The only maintained wiki package currently is the wikitools module. Most wiki functionality can be created in Drupal without a "wiki" module though by combining a number of modules like various input formats and diff. Views 2 (in Drupal 6) also has a default view for backlinks now.
