Hi
I'm working on a site. it's on www.scoop.tudelft.nl/site Problem is that the avatar's(user picture's) won't display. I tried to change the line in the module. As suggested in the other topic about avatars. However this doesn't make a difference. The pictures are uploaded to files/user_avatars and i checked and they were on server. However if i go to one for example i get this:
http://scoop.tudelft.nl/site/files/user_avatars/picture-1.jpg
whith the following error:
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@scoop.tudelft.nl and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Can anyone help me with this? i would appreciate it.

Hi! This does not appear to be a problem with the Site User List module. I suggest looking in the error log, and finding out what the error is. Also, if the avatars do appear anywhere on the site, you should be able to use your browser to determine what the actual path you need to supply is. If your download method is set to "private", you may need to use something like 'system/files/[something]'.

Hi,
I have a similar issue with Drupal 6. If I point my browser to the picture path it also gets the error.
My conclusion: a permission error. Although the folder is 755, the owner is somethinglike wwwurs (sorry, I can't remember like this). When I 777 the folder it worked fine, until I uploaded another picture...
I need to check the system filesystem options in Drupal I read. Just wanted to let you know.
You might want to move this issue to the forums though.
Greetings,
