User Profiles - CCK

Hi,

I was wondering if someone can advise how I can accomplish the following with regards to CCK fields on user profiles.

I am looking to create a content type that will allow people to enter up to 10 line items of the following criteria:
Date, Title, Location

I want there to be a button below the item that says "Add Another", when clicked the fields appear again and allow them to enter another line item, up to 10 items.

How could this be accomplished?

Also, I find CCK fields to be very difficult to modify the layout, while in edit mode. I don't have problems customizing the display view, but what is the best way to customize how fields are being displayed during creation and edit mode? For example, positioning and textfield size.
