I am trying to use openid module v6.0 in drupal 6. I do have an openId at verysign (xxx.pip.versignlabs.com), but drupal pretends that it is not a valid openid.

what am I doing wrong here?

Works fine for me in 6.2. Perhaps you were misspelling the url (as you did twice above). The correct spelling is verisignlabs, giving you a fully normalized url of https://username.pip.verisignlabs.com/

Note that for this service, you must already be logged in at http://pip.verisignlabs.com/login.do
