just saw this and am wondering if it's sort of been done - the fblike theme for drupal6 has pictotitle support (same thing, very easy, upload your fonts and adminster from themes configuration page - lets you set site logo/title, slogan and page title (e.g. user name, title of blog post) etc..

does that mean that somebody has already done this port in another way? here's the devs demo site (you can pull it down from drupal though)

good question - i'm not a themer so i have no idea what it would take to pull out that pictotitle support and throw it up as a module for any theme...

There is now a drupal 6 dev version up. Please let us know if you have any issues with it.

Also, the main thread regarding the drupal 6 version see #259503: any plan for Drupal 6?.
