I have a new product I've created and I left unchecked the "Product and its derivatives are shippable" selection. I have checked "Hide shipping information when possible for carts with no shippable items" under Checkout settings within Store Administration. When I go to purchase this product (only), the checkout form is still requiring "Delivery Information" and "Calculate Shipping Cost". "Calculate Shipping Cost" does nothing (produces no results when pressed) but prevents the user from making the purchase because ot is seeing it as required.

Can you confirm that you're running the latest beta version?

I've confirmed that I am using beta5. I can send you screen shots if you want to see for yourself ;>

Hmm... are you using any product features on this product? I wonder if shippability settings returned by one of the features are overriding the product form setting? (If so, we'd have to fix that somehow. : P)

I just tested this on a clean install of the latest Bazaar version and the delivery and shipping quote panes were not shown as expected. I do wonder if this is an issue w/ a product feature or some other setting. I'm marking it postponed until further light on the topic is shed. Set it back to active if you have an update to provide.

This ones important to me, so I'm not disappearing that easily ;>

This product is for a membership so it uses both the role assignment and the recurring fee feature.

I have noticed one oddity ... in the Edit screen after having added a Role Assignment feature within Features, the Shippable Product box always appears checked even if you uncheck and save over and over again. I don't have that issue with any other checkboxes but this one appears sticky.

Glad you didn't disappear. : ) I did just test it w/ a role assignment feature on a clean test site and did not have the same issue. There was something weird going on, but not what you're describing.

The shippable box always responds to what I do. I found that changing settings on a product while that product was in my cart was causing trouble, so you might try emptying your cart and testing again. I actually had reverse issues where if the product was set as non-shippable but the feature was it wasn't showing delivery info.

Okay, what happened?! Oddly enough, I upgraded to Bazaar today to try to resolve another issue and now the checkout from looks fine for my membership products. I guess you're off the hook. ;>

On a separate but related topic, do you have any advice on how to test the Websites Payments Pro set up with this Paypal Sandbox. I've got accounts set up but when I go to submit my order I'm getting errors. The thing really lacks instructions. Just wondered if you had any insight from experience.

My experience is that PayPal's sandbox is slow and won't always work for WPP. : )

Kind of unfortunate, but make sure you're using an actual address b/c they check that. Also, use 4111111111111111 for your test CC number. More documentation will be forthcoming in the hopefully near future.

Oops! I asked the wrong question. I meant Websites Payment Standard. Any additional advise for that approach?
