Rules based referrer aggregation

I would like to see the ability to define a list of rules (in the form of a regex, possibly) that would allow the referrer logs to be aggregated. I get hundreds of one-hit-per-referrer from http://[nickname].livejournal.com/friends (which means that [nickname] has on their friends list a person or community who posted a link to my site) that really clog up the list. I'd like to see those all added together. I will probably try to tackle this addition myself, but I wanted to post it here for now as a reminder / vote grabber / place to eventually post my patch.
