Downloads.com style site possible?

http://www.download.com/3120-20_4.html?tg=dl-20&qt=software&tag=srch

If you take a look at that link you will see multiple values such as "date added", "total downloads", etc and then you can sort each column based each softwares value for that column. What is the best way to do something like this in drupal. Basicaly I want to a comparison of 30 or so things and I want people to be able to reorder them based on what is most important to them. Also I would like an easy way for me to add the information, I would assume each of the 30 items would be its own node. Is there a plugin for this?

Thank you.

I haven't actually done what you are talking about, but I would think it would be possible with CCK and Views. Use CCK to enter your content and Views to display it. Oh, and you would have to do some fancy theming.

An ajaxy thing would be cool, but I don't think there is a module for that.

Thank you

Views and CCK are very powerful although they do have definite limitations. They are, however, a bit difficult to get your head wrapped around. You might want to go over to lullabot.com and download their podcasts on Views and CCK.

Thanks

Views and CCK worked great for this.
