The CVS message shows inactivity since Jan 4 2008. So is this module still under development? If not, maybe I need to find a php snippet to get pagers for my Drupal V6 sites.
I know that that guy Eaton has contributed to over 40 modules, and is still doing so. On a number of them, he seems to be the only one working on it. I think he plans to port a lot of these things, but is somewhat time-constrained.
You may be interested in http://drupal.org/node/121625 -- it seems from what I can see that this suggests that custom_pagers could be implemented much more simply based on viewfield.
...just an additional comment that if this were the case, then it might be useful to get viewfield ported, and then make a 6.x-2.x version based on that.
