I started this but it will take a little more time that I'd hoped, since there is no views 2 developer documentation, yet. But, it's on my list of things to finish, soon as I find time.

This is mostly done, but some critical parts of views 2 are still missing/incomplete, like menu support.

OK backlinks is now ready for testing from cvs, although not yet actually released. Now that earl has incorporated php arg handling into views2, both page and block displays are working.

Update: Backlinks has been incorporated into Views 2, and therefore this project can be discontinued.

Question -- can you alter that Drupal 6 note on the web page to look a bit more like this?
