i'm lost.
where exactly are settings for cck faceted?

i got these setting pages in tabs:

i can't find or get to work the views facet either

i mean, the setting pages, in the tabs or paths that exist under admin/settings/faceted_search are:

admin/settings/faceted_search
admin/settings/faceted_search/author_facet
admin/settings/faceted_search/content_type_facet
admin/settings/faceted_search/date_authored_facet
admin/settings/faceted_search/taxonomy_facets

so far, i have not found any option to create a facet out of a cck field in the admin/content/types pages

(also, i found the filter for views so i suppose there's no settings for that facet)

You don't seem to be using the dev version of Faceted Search. As stated on the CCK Facets project page, it works only with the dev version at the moment.

had dev at first, but then override it while going through the update queue.
