I tried an upgrade from 4.7 to 5.7 version. Everything went smoothly during i run the update.php in the site,without any errors and warnings.But after that,i opened the site,the home page is blank,404 page not found.And in admin end,the content module page is not found either.Please help me out,ANY help would be much appreciated.

Did you disable all contributed modules before doing the update.php? When you go to admin -> site config -> site info, you should be able to set the front (home) page.

Yes,i did disable all contributed modules before doing the update.php.

All contents dont come up.But admin can login and change the setting,only cant access the content module.

I think it's something do do with your url in settings. If you write "node" behind your url you will see your site. But still you have some problems with all your url. Pathauto?
