In getting this to work I ran into the lack of the subscriptions_get_full_description() function.

I read through your documentation in the code and at the project page on drupal.org. I did not see the following patch, http://drupal.org/node/222334 referenced anywhere.

I would suggest adding a note that the subscriptions_og module is dependent upon that patch and linking to the issue.

My original intention was to provide first subscriptions_og development release after subscriptions 5.x-2.0-beta11, which could incorporate the patch you mentioned.
I have the task of documenting subscriptions_og dependencies and will be committed in our first 5.x-dev.

Perfect. I'm just trying to jump into the process and help out where, and when I can. It sounds like you are working closely with the subscriptions maintainer(s) so this is not that big of a deal, but having this documented would have saved me a bit of digging to determine this.

I also realize that I may be jumping in to help before you may have had the code in a place that's easy to collaborate so don't worry yourself over this minor detail. It's now documented for others via this issue. :-)

Salvis included both dependencies: function and hook in 5.x-2.0-beta11 release of subscriptions module, that is why I'm closing this issue.
