I'm looking for some great examples of high-profile and high-traffic social networking sites powered by Drupal. I've found http://icommunity.tv/ as an example, but an looking for others.

well I dont know any particular great site on drupal..but I am trying my best to spread Drupal on many forums. I always reccomened Drupal.

Even though this topic is old But I also wanted to comment on Drupal's potential for social networking sites.

Even though the website I know may not be a social networking website, But it's close.

1. SparkBlue
https://www.sparkblue.org/welcome

SparkBlue is a large social site for UNDP members and those interested in discussing social issues in their countries. The site has a good translation system and allows discussions in subgroups on each topic. The usage is similar to that of popular social sites.

2. Working Couples
https://workingcouples.com/
A job site for couples from around the world. It is a space for employers and couples who are looking for work to meet together.

3. Blognone
https://www.blognone.com/

It is a website that presents IT news from Thailand. Each news writer has their own blog page. The website also has a forum for members to chat with each other.

4. AppleVis
https://www.applevis.com/

It is a large forum community that brings together blind people from around the world to discuss accessibility of Apple products.

5. Keangun
https://www.keangun.com/

It is a community website that publishes online novels. Gathers many readers and writers within the website.

6. Blogazine

https://blogazine.pub/

A space for social activists to write articles to express their opinions. Each activist has their own blog.
