I hope someone can help me as I can't find a solution myself after spending several days working on this...
I need to have quite a few groups set up on my site. I also want to allow the group admin to choose whether to allow comments to be posted with or without approval within their group. I can do this using the OG User Roles module.
When I give 'access comments' permissions to Group Admins they can approve the queued comments for their group but they can also administrate comments for the whole site.
Does anyone know how I can give the group admins access to just approve queued comments for their group?

Can't be done without an OG Comment module
Comment administration is a system (core) module. What you seek cannot be done until someone comes up with comment administration module designed for Organic Groups.

You are right and I think that more users will find that we need an OG Comment Administration module.
I put this up as an issue on http://drupal.org/node/220617 but have since seen this http://drupal.org/node/225421. So it looks like the community needs someone to develop a OG Comment Administration module but unfortunately I'm not a coder and don't know the best way to take this forwrd - any suggestions?
