Hi!
Unless there is no documentation for this module, I installed it, + jquery inpropromptu, enabled both modules, and - what else?
I looked at my own node types with CCK fields if ther is some icon, I tried to edit it, if I found some icon, I tried to look and edit on various content types - manage fields section if there is some settings for it...
but i found absolute no option when I can set some privacy for some CCK field.
(I had it enabled for admin only in access rules)
if it is so hard to use this module, please add some install.txt for it. :) or some install/using info into the module page on drupal.org
thanks
Igorik

obsidiandesign commentedHi Igorik,
I apologize - I do think the documentation was quite lacking. When first installed & enabled, the module doesn't do anything until the administrator goes into Administer > Content Management > CCK field privacy and selects one or more content types to enable field privacy for. Once a content type is enabled, the administrator can choose specific CCK fields to enable privacy on, and then once those settings are saved, the padlock icons will be displayed to the user when editing the node.
I've created a documentation page as you requested, and once I polish the documentation a bit, I will add it to the INSTALL.txt file. Sorry about the confusion. I've marked this a documentation bug / 'patch needs review' as the documentation might need some clarity or style changes.
