Won't give a role on purchasing with Paypal, expiry problems an emails problems.

I can't get Ecommerce to give a role to a user when it's purchasing a product with Paypal. The transaction shows as "completed" but I don't get an email from the system and the neither the client to show the completed transaction. (the only confirmation email I get is from Paypal)

The only way I have been able to give a role to a user is with a product that costs 0.00$ , the transaction doesn't need paypal and the user gets the new role. But then the reccuring expiry doesn't seem to work. The role nerver gets expired and no email is sent.

I have a cron job set up and I'm using drupal 5.

I would really need help with giving roles on purchasing, expiring roles and the emails from the system I never get.
