I'm sure this is basic stuff but I can't seem to find any info on what I am doing wrong. First, I have a place to create content but no place to view content. Is there a way I can get a forums link into a block that would take a user to forum content. Acually what I am refering to is content that is managed much like it is on this page with the tabs above, but possibly in a sidebar.
Also is there a way to take the log in interface off of the front page and have a "log in" link in a block?
Thanks for any help. I really like this CMS.

I'm not sure what you mean by not having a place to view content, but if you mean you want to add menus to the top and sides, you can do this from the "administration" menu, under "site building", by choosing the "menus" link.
Well if I'm not mistaken, the "log in" link *IS* in a block by default, but if you want to turn it off you can do so by going to "administration"->"Site Building"->"Blocks", and then turn off the "User Login" block (or move it wherever you like).
if you remove the user login block and realize later that you need to log in, you can always log in via this URL:
http://www.yoursite.com/user
Hope this helps a little.

Thanks!
That makes sense.
regarding my forum question, when I log in (as admin or as another user) I have (in the left block) My Blog, Create content (when I click on this I gain access to verious modules to create in such as forum etc. . . ), my account and log out. (my admin account has admin tools here too)
What I would like to do is create a view content heading that would have content from all users such as accessing the forum, all user blogs etc. . . perhaps this would be menus as well though. how do I link a module such as blogs or forum to a menu
Thanks again for your help.

got adminsiter -> menus
you can create new menu items, or an entire new menu structure.
when you create a new menu, the process automatically creates a new block for you to enable in administer -> blocks
menu items (links) are created in adminsiter -> menus, you craeet teh new item and relatively point use the path.
ie: if you want a blog link, create a new menu item, and make the path blog_____________________________________________________________________
