Hello and thank you for this wonderful module! Is it in your plans to provide a way to determine whether the users that have been granted access can either view or edit the node they're granted access upon? As far as I can tell and I hope I got it all setup right, when I am giving access to a specific user then that user can both view and edit the node.

mlncn commentedHi Christopher, thanks for setting it up. I think you are correct, it's original setup was to give full access or nothing.
I don't think it should be too difficult to separate view from edit capabilities.
I am very busy right now but would put in a hundred bucks or so to pay another developer to dive back into my code (my confidence in understanding the node access system has been shaken lately!) or of course simply accept a patch!
Or I may be able to get to it pretty soon after DrupalCon Boston in early March.

chrisroditis commentedBenjamin, thank you for your prompt response! I am actually interested in limiting the granted user to just "viewing" the node, so I guess it's high time I studied some node access magic. Thanks again! I'll post back my findings if I manage this.

chrisroditis commentedno, unfortunately I have switched over to another node access mechanism, and so abandoned node relativity altogether.

Anonymous (not verified) commented@christopher_skauss Thanks for the reply. Sorry node relativity didn't work out for you.
To anyone: would it be possible to just remove the 'update' perms by removing all the instances in the source and replacing it with 'view'?
