Under the scheduling options, it says "Leave blank to publish on the time of form submission" next to the "Publish on" field. This leads me to believe that the node will be published immediately, and unpublished after the Unpublish on date. However, the node goes on unpublished.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a node, leave publish on empty, and set an unpublished date way in the future.
2. Run cron.php
3. Node should remain unpublished.

skiminki commentedOk, I think this is by design and the text is wrong. It should say "Leave blank to publish manually". Opinions?

jgoldberg commentedYeah, that works.

eric-alexander schaefer commentedMaybe the text should reflect that leaving "Publish on" blank will keep the scheduler module from interfering with the workflow. Other modules might still publish the node automatically.
skiminki commentedI changed the text as follows: Leave blank to disable scheduled publishing. For consistency, I also changed the text for unpublish on: Leave blank to disable scheduled unpublishing.
