any timeline for drupal 6 subscriptions?

hello. i understand you're very hard at work on a major rewrite and i'm just wondering if a port of the rewrite for drupal 6 is on the calendar or if there are plans to push out any test versions for drupal 6 once the version 2 of the module is completed...i have heard from the dev on the notify module (augustin) that he may not be updating his module for d6 because you're rewrite captures most of the same features (probably the same for comments-notify and so on)...
