I recently downloaded and installed Drupal 6 and try to install civiCRM module on top of it, but I always get problems.

CiviCRM is not slated to support Drupal 6 until the upcoming 2.1 release.
Any help in updating CiviCRM is appreciated :)

It looks like Drupal v6.x is not supported with the current version of CiviCRM v2.1 even though in the notes for v2.1 it states it will be compatible. So looks like we have to wait until v2.2 which is dated for official release on February 18th, and beta comes out on January 28th.
CiviCRM Runs Fine On Drupal 6.x
I have CiviCRM 2.1.4 running on Drupal 6.8. As far as I can tell it runs fine. Right now it's on my testbed, but I'm about to set it up on a production site. At the moment, the only issue I'm still struggling with is getting Drupal Calendar to display CiviEvent entries.
