I've managed to install the uploadprogress pecl extension successfully and have tested it with the demo files provided on this page: http://www.hyrme.com/node/18

however, even though the test script runs perfectly, the drupal module just refuses to show any information. all I get is "00:00 left (at /sec)" and the progress bar remains empty until the upload is finished.

I have the correct setting (uploadprogress extension) set in the admin settings. Is there anything else that might be causing this oddness?

nevermind. tried it on a fresh install and all seems to be working fine now.
