Hi,

I was wondering how I could allow a user to set up a custom node and to allow certain other users (of their choosing) access to editing the node. So basically several users would "own" a node and be able to edit the details of it?

Thanks for any help,
Justin.

Search in the 'User access' module category:
http://drupal.org/project/Modules

The 'nodeaccess' module might do what you want. Since we aren't spiritualists, only after downloading a module and investigating it further we can determine that it suits us. I had to download that module and see its 'grant own node permissions' permission to assume that it might suit you.

There are other possibilities. For example, a user may setup an Organic Group and grant others an admin status.

Thanks moofie, i'll check out the 'user access' module, although taking a look at Organic Groups suggests it may have more features that will come in useful.

Thanks for your help.
