Howdy,
I was trying to get two fields to appear in the teaser but not appear in the
body of the node. I originally tried using the Excerpt module, but it only has one field.

I created this small patch that adds an option "Show in body" that works just like "Show in teaser".

The patch should address flexinode.mysql. It should also set the show_body default to '1' as upgrading current sites will cause the flexinode to not show any of the current fields in the body

+1 for the functionality

There was mention in another thread of other cms' allowing a seperate teaser / body. With this patch, it is possible. Without it, supplying 2 seperate textareas will force both onto the body.

Would this patch allow fields to be excluded from both the teaser and the body? This would be usefull from an administrators point of view. Perhaps you want a checkbox which will flag an item for use in another module for example.
